Demand remains high for male domestic worker visas
According to o cial statistics, while the total number of foreign workers in
Saudi’s private sector decreased by .6% between the rst quarters of 2019
2020, the number of migrant domestic workers has increased by 27.7% ove
the same period – from 2,863,697 to an all-time high of 3,658,730.
And although Saudi women could legally drive as of 24 June 2018, the
predicted exodus of foreign male drivers has not occurred. In fact, there ha
been a 43% rise in the number of foreign male drivers since the decision to
