In celebration of International Migrants Day, accounts of wage theft were collected by MFA members and partners and gathered to share the different journeys of each migrant worker who faced injustice and how they navigated through it. The pandemic heavily impacted migrant workers, with many of them having lost their jobs, received lower pay, or had their wages not given, and more. Many migrant workers grappled with the challenge of exerting their right to return under these conditions. MFA has learned from first-hand experience that there was a need to move forward toward self-empowerment and go deeper into the chain of resonance of understanding solidarity. These migrant workers, empowered by the support given to them, sought better opportunities for themselves and their families. These are stories of justice delayed and of the need for reforms in our justice systems. These stories are only some of many more untold experiences of survivors who are crying out for justice, who are seeking access to justice, and seeking support as they transition to a post-pandemic world. To ensure privacy, aliases were given to each migrant worker. 2
