KOCHI: Employers owe at least Rs 1,200 crore to the expatriates who have returned
to Kerala from the Gulf countries following termination from work — in the
aftermath of the Covid outbreak — without receiving service benefits or wages,
unpaid leaves, deduction of monthly wages etc., according to a shocking revelation
by a new survey.
